My Story

Since a young age, I have had a love for horses and farm life, and as a teenager and young adult, I competed in both jumper and dressage.   But as I got older I loved to teach more than compete and horses became part of my life.  The other part of my life is being a physiotherapist where I help people recover from illness or injury.  So teaching therapeutic riding lessons was a natural progression.  So here I am today.....  I own a farm and multiple horses, I am certified as an intermediate instructor through CanTRA and as an instructor through EquineCanada.

Windy Acres Stable is a 13-acre farm in Port Colborne (where the cities of Niagara Falls, Welland, Fort Erie and Port Colborne all meet).  We house multiple horses, most of whom are used for therapeutic riding and our riding school, others are in training or retired.  We have other farm animals that help to complete the farm experience for our clients, goats, sheep, cow, donkeys, pigs,  chickens, ducks, bunnies, guinea pigs, cats and dogs.
